State Representative: Chris Walsh
The 6th Middlesex District is the only one that represents the interests of the Town of Framingham and, for that reason, I am expressing my support for the best candidate to represent the district. The Town of Framingham needs a representative that can handle the many issues that are vital to the best interests of the Town.
We currently have a representative that does only what she has been directed to do. Her votes are rarely anything more that a follow-the-leader process. This comment is supported by the reported source of her campaign funds. The other candidate has an agenda that defies the court system and refuses to obey court orders. In addition, she has used her efforts to defy citizens rights, under our constitution, to petition the state legislature with regard to a ballot question on the definition of marriage.
Chris Walsh, on the other hand, has demonstrated his ability to define the issues and has expressed his view that there are old laws that need to be reviewed to bring the laws into the modern age.. I refer to the Dover Amendment which is outdated. The tax-exempt status of the non- profit, privatizing of state obligations is choking the ability of towns to find sufficient funds to support the police, fire, public works, schools and other town services.
I support Chris Walsh as the best candidate to address the voter’s concerns and my hope is that others will recognize the need for a clear change of direction. Chris is a businessman with excellent credentials.
