The contested town-wide races are Library Board, Planning Board, and one-year seat for School Committee.
Some precincts have contested races for Town Meeting; some have room for write-ins to be elected; some have all 12 seats up for election because of new district lines. For your consideration, here are my recommendations in the three contested races on the Town-Wide Election ballot:
* One-year seat on Framingham School Committee
* Two seats on the Framingham Planning Board
* Four seats on the Framingham Library Board of Trustees

Don Taggart for Framingham School Committee
The 2 incumbents – Beverly Hugo and Andy Limeri – have been doing a great job. Please vote for them to be re-elected to the 3-year seats.

Tom Mahoney and Stephanie Mercandetti for Planning Board
The Metrowest Daily News/Framingham TAB editorial board gave incumbent Planning Board member Tom Mahoney and write-in candidate Stephanie Mercandetti one of their strongest ever endorsements. Maria Barry, Janet Harrington, Nancy Coville Wallace, and George Brown for Library Board
The 3 incumbents - Maria Barry, Janet Harrington, Nancy Coville Wallace - have been doing an excellent job. Please vote for them to be re-elected. Also, please note that George Brown is a librarian from Shrewsbury and former TMM, so would be a qualified choice for your 4th vote.
