AAA Haul-Away

We used AAA Haul-Away.
They have a lowest cost guarantee and I was really surprised at how low the estimate was. I've used others in the past, but AAA Haulaway uses really big trucks and makes bigger single trips to the dump which apparently decreases their costs. They came same day as my call, within a few hours- and kept to the exact telephone estimate I was given. They also work 7 days a week.

I have used Anthony's removal services on three occasionsand he was fabulous every time. Prompt, professional, courteous. He knows his business and will try to give the closest estimate on what he hauls away. Only once did he calculate the weight wrong and we had to pay a very minimal difference.

We used Anthony's for a dumpster when doing renovations, and they were the cheapest of several I priced, and the most flexible. Everything Lee Ann said above was right on the mark.

I recently used Anthony's Removal Services and his response and performance exceeded my expectations. He returned my call within an hour and came to my home three hours later to pick up and remove what I had. His price was reasonable and fair, and his service was professional and courteous. His company has a website with information and removal charges for various house hold items.

Bagster
After the obligatory fretting and price-shopping, we bought a Bagster instead. You buy an 8' x 4' x 2.5' (approx.?) kevlar/teflon-like bag (at Taylor and other places) for $30; position it in driveway, in accordance with instructions; fill it, in accordance with instructions; call for pickup-n-pay ($139 for Framingham); and --voila-- the Bagster peeps arrive with a crane truck to hoist it away. (Thus the positioning/access requirements.)
You can put up to 3000 lbs--yes--in there. We put a bathtub, plus much more, in. It worked for us. Obviously it is not as big as your average dumpster, but neither is the price.

Bagster is fabulous. You buy a dumpster-sized stop 'shop bag at home depot, then you call bagster.com for pick up. I think, they come in different sizes. We used them when we moved last year and had no clue how much we had to trash!

I highly recommend Larry DeRoche of Clean Out Your House (a closely held, local business which is "not a franchise".) I have used him with clients and cannot recommend him more highly. His company can take items for donation as well as disposal. They can also dispose of hazard waste properly for you, all at competitive rates. He is an Associate member of my professional association and has been recommended highly by other's in my industry who are equally particular about who works with their clients.

Framingham Salvage is located on Route 135. This business has been around for over 25 years. It is a family operation, they are top notch.
Certainly, you can mention that you were referred to them by Jonathan and Lisa Shapiro.
They are closed from 12:30-1:30 (M-F), and on Saturdays they are open until noontime.
