we have been using a small Framingham company All Seasons Comfort. They installed a new boiler for us in December, and he will be checking over our A/C system for the coming summer. Jim is an experienced HVAC expert and is well versed in the new High-Efficiency equipment. I recommend him.

Efficient Air Systems

Frank installed air conditioning in our home in Framingham and my father in law's home in Stoneham. The price was far lower than the oil company and more competitive than the two other companies we contacted. The Stoneham install was standard. Our home in Framingham required cutting through cementboard and installing the vents throughout a 250+ year old home. His work was professional, he cleaned up all debris, and was excellent to work with. I highly recommend his services.

We used T & J heating out of Bellingham to add central air to our house about a year and a half ago. In terms of price,they were VERY competitive (I had called the ones on the wiki too). Installation was fine and clean. One issue we did have was that we had two floors to cool. The unit was installed in the attic and had no problem reaching the top floor with duct work (we have forced hot water for heat), but the bottom floor was a different matter since not all rooms had closets above the bottom room ceilings (duct work takes up about 1x1 foot space of closet space). So we had one room we didn't put a vent in which caused another room to not cool as well. Eventually we just had to bite the bullet and have another duct installed that is visible in an upstairs room (eventually I'll box it in and make it look like a built-in bookcase or something...) But this didn't cost us any extra, they took the viewpoint that the system was not working to our comfort level and were doing what it took to make the system work for us.
Have found them to be a professional and honorable business to work with.

Several years ago we replaced our gas furnace and A/C system. I contacted several neighbors who had the same work done and who had been very pleased with the result; they told me that they had used NStar. After receiving estimates from NStar and three independent companies we decided to go with NStar and were glad we did. The work was done quickly, efficiently within the estimate and timeframe we were given.
