I get to Framingham Ctr. post office about twice a week. I had been watching the former frame shop being transformed into a market. I went in the second day it was open and what a delight. The produce is quite reasonable and there are some unusual European candies on the shelves. I was astounded by the breads. I am half Lithuanian (on my mother's side) and I grew up across the street from my grandparents. Up until the late 1950s a breadman delivered Lithuanian bread, torpedo shaped brown loaves with a thick crust, once a week. We didn't have a supply once the breadman stopped coming. A friend's wife was down in Brockton about 30 years ago and she got me a loaf then. I never thought I'd ever taste that bread again, but now I have it every day!

The store also has great candy, pastries and frozen foods. Prices seem very reasonable. The owners live in Framingham.

Fresh Choice also sells fruit and vegetables at good prices.
