We had Door Systems install a new Garaga garage door. Couldn't be happier with the quality of both the door and installation. The salesman came out with up to date brochures and discussed at length installation, door construction, warranty,etc. The door manufactures website is good also and allows you to play around with different styles and color combinations for door, trim and lights (windows). They have a showroom in Framingham which was quite helpful to look at the doors and see and hear the door openers as well.

I second the recommendation for Door Systems. We used them 5 or so years ago for a new garage door. They explained the pros and cons of each door and style (window, no window, RF rating, construction), they were professional and easy to work with.

Studley Doors just installed new doors and one new opener for me. I agree with Andy that their work and products are high quality and he has good ideas if you're interested in changing the look.
My one frustration was that the opener he installed is on an incompatible frequency with my existing Craftsman opener and I can't use one remote to control all the doors. Had I known that was the case beforehand, I would have insisted that he use a different opener. As of yet, I haven't found an aftermarket remote that will do the job.

We've also had a good experience with Scott Studley. He came over, and when he realized it was a 2 minute problem, he fixed it, no charge. Mr. Studley came by same day.

I want to thank everyone for all their recommendations. Knowing that I didn't want my car stuck outside another night, we called Scott Studley, based in Framingham, who came and did the job this morning. His hourly rate was reasonable and the cost of the springs are the same as if I went to HD or Lowe's myself. I took his advice and did pay for the safety cables so if the other garage door springs break, the risk of injury and/or damage to the cars is zero. I wasn't excited to shell out more than really necessary, but know that in the long run it will be worth it. Overhead doors wanted to charge a lot more, FYI.

Scott came the same day as we called, did the job in no time, works great and the price was beyond reasonable and I consider it a bargain. You can tell Scott is a great, honest person to do business with and I will recommend him to anyone for their garage door services.

We recently had a problem where one of the springs on our garage door snapped and we could not use the door at all. I really needed the door fixed quickly, as this was right before what was supposed to be a reasonable snowfall (which didn’t materialize).
I called one of the local “larger companies” that had good recommendations and when I told them that I needed it repaired quickly, they said the first available appointment was a week away!! Not what I wanted to hear, but I went ahead and made the appointment.
But then I called Scott Studley who also had some good recommendations to see if he could be there sooner. He said that he could be there in about an HOUR! I was amazed. He showed up on time and did a great job fixing the problem at a very fair price.
I highly recommend Scott and would definitely call him again if I have a garage door problem.

We recently used Scott to replace our garage door opener. Like everyone says he is EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE. He came by the same day I called and had it fixed the next day for what I thought was a fair price. He also included some small repairs to the panel hinges as part of the price. The only thing he pushed a little on was the safety cables (or lack thereof) which truthfully should have been done anyways. I highly recommend him and would use him again. The guy shows up when he says, does the job he says he will do, and charges what he says he will charge.
